दूत उवाच । या सा सर्वगता देवी शक्तिरूपा शुचि स्मिता । श्रीमाता जगतां माता देवैराराधिता परा । तेषां तुष्टा च देवी त्वामिदं वचनमब्रवीत्

dūta uvāca | yā sā sarvagatā devī śaktirūpā śuci smitā | śrīmātā jagatāṃ mātā devairārādhitā parā | teṣāṃ tuṣṭā ca devī tvāmidaṃ vacanamabravīt

Der Bote sprach: „Jene allgegenwärtige Göttin—die Gestalt der Śakti selbst, rein und sanft lächelnd—Śrīmātā, Mutter der Welten, die Höchste, von den Göttern verehrt: ihnen gewogen, hat sie dir diese Botschaft übermittelt.“
