दुःखेन मृत्युमापन्नस्तस्मिन्नेव जलाशये । अथ सा भर्तृशोकाच्च मरणे कृतनिश्चया

duḥkhena mṛtyumāpannastasminneva jalāśaye | atha sā bhartṛśokācca maraṇe kṛtaniścayā

Von Kummer überwältigt, fand er in eben jenem Wasserbecken den Tod. Da fasste sie, vom Gattenleid getroffen, den Entschluss, ebenfalls zu sterben.
