Pulastya
Tirtha: Arbuda
Type: kshetra
Scene: Pulastya narrates: the brāhmaṇa, astonished, recognizes Śiva as vṛṣabhadhvaja and drops to his knees, touching the earth in reverence before speaking.
Recognition of the divine leads naturally to humility, surrender, and reverence—marks of genuine spiritual awakening.
The Arbuda Khaṇḍa’s setting (Arbuda region) is elevated as a place where Śiva grants direct darśana and guidance.
The act of bowing/kneeling to the ground reflects devotional submission (praṇāma), though no formal rite is prescribed.
