ममात्र संनिविष्टस्य सहानेन प्रजल्पतः । यदि कश्चिन्नरो मोहादागमिष्यति लक्ष्मण । स्वहस्तेन न संदेहः सूदयिष्यामि तं द्रुतम्
mamātra saṃniviṣṭasya sahānena prajalpataḥ | yadi kaścinnaro mohādāgamiṣyati lakṣmaṇa | svahastena na saṃdehaḥ sūdayiṣyāmi taṃ drutam
„Während ich hier sitze und er mit mir spricht, wenn – aus Verblendung – irgendein Mann hereinkommt, o Lakshmana, dann werde ich ihn zweifellos schnell mit eigener Hand töten.“
