शांडिल्युवाच । मनसापि मया ध्यातं शुभं वा यदिवाऽशुभम् । नान्यथा जायते देव विशेषात्कोपयुक्तया
śāṃḍilyuvāca | manasāpi mayā dhyātaṃ śubhaṃ vā yadivā'śubham | nānyathā jāyate deva viśeṣātkopayuktayā
Śāṇḍilya sprach: „O Deva, selbst was nur im Geist gedacht wird—sei es heilsam oder unheilsam—wird nicht anders, besonders wenn es mit Zorn verbunden ist.“
