triḥparikamya taṃ devamaṣṭāṃgaṃ praṇatau harim | dṛṣṭavantau ca pādāṃte saṃniviṣṭāṃ samudrajām
Nachdem sie jenen Gott dreimal umschritten hatten, warfen sie sich vor Hari in der achtgliedrigen Niederwerfung (aṣṭāṅga) nieder. Da erblickten sie zu seinen Füßen die Tochter des Ozeans, dort sitzend — Śrī/Lakṣmī.
