Transliteration

yena pūrvaṃ tapastaptvā kṣetre'traiva mahātmanā | trinetrastuṣṭimānīto gatapakṣeṇa dhīmatā

Translation

Hier, in diesem heiligen Kṣetra selbst, übte jener weise Großgesinnte—obgleich seiner Flügel beraubt—Tapas wie zuvor und brachte so den Dreiäugigen Herrn (Śiva) zur Zufriedenheit.
