ब्राह्मण उवाच । या मया सहसा दृष्टा स्वयमेव हुताशन । परकांतेन तां नाद्य शुद्धामपि गृहं नये

brāhmaṇa uvāca | yā mayā sahasā dṛṣṭā svayameva hutāśana | parakāṃtena tāṃ nādya śuddhāmapi gṛhaṃ naye

Der Brāhmaṇa sprach: O Hutāśana (Agni), sie, die ich plötzlich mit eigenen Augen an der Seite des Geliebten eines anderen sah, werde ich heute nicht nach Hause führen, selbst wenn sie gereinigt ist.
