yadi naivopadeśaṃ me kañcittvaṃ saṃpradāsyasi | vyādhināśāya tattena tyakṣyāmyadya kalevaram

Wenn du mir keine Unterweisung zur Vernichtung dieser Krankheit gewährst, dann werde ich aus eben diesem Grund noch heute diesen Leib verlassen.

FAQs

Despair is redirected toward seeking upadeśa; Purāṇic narratives stress that right counsel can convert hopelessness into dharmic action.

The appeal occurs within the Prabhāsa-kṣetra māhātmya episode.

No ritual is specified; the requested ‘upadeśa’ implies a forthcoming practice (vrata, snāna, japa, etc.) to remove the disease.
