तं दृष्ट्वा स प्रणम्योच्चै स्ततः प्रोवाच सादरम् । क्षयव्याधियुतश्चन्द्रो निर्वेदाद्द्विजसत्तमाः
taṃ dṛṣṭvā sa praṇamyoccai stataḥ provāca sādaram | kṣayavyādhiyutaścandro nirvedāddvijasattamāḥ
Als er ihn erblickte, verneigte er sich tief und sprach dann ehrerbietig. Candra, vom zehrenden Schwindsuchtsleiden befallen, redete ihn aus tiefer Verzweiflung an: „O Bester der Zweimalgeborenen!“
