तद्दुःखं न वयं शक्ता हृदि धर्तुं कथंचन । रमते स हि रोहिण्या चंद्रमाः सहितोऽनिशम्
tadduḥkhaṃ na vayaṃ śaktā hṛdi dhartuṃ kathaṃcana | ramate sa hi rohiṇyā caṃdramāḥ sahito'niśam
„Wir vermögen diesen Kummer auf keine Weise im Herzen zu tragen; denn der Mond erfreut sich unablässig, einzig in der Gemeinschaft Rohiṇīs.“
