Transliteration

śubhaṃ vā yadi vā pāpaṃ na tu śakyaṃ prarakṣitum | tasmātkarma puraskṛtya naiva tyakṣyāmi kanyakām

„Ob heilsam oder sündhaft—wahrhaft abwehren lässt es sich nicht; darum, das Karma voranstellend, werde ich das Mädchen nicht verlassen.“
