व्याघ्र उवाच । स्वागतं तव कल्याणि सुधेनो सत्यवादिनि । न हि सत्यवतां किंचिदशुभं विद्यते क्वचित्
vyāghra uvāca | svāgataṃ tava kalyāṇi sudheno satyavādini | na hi satyavatāṃ kiṃcidaśubhaṃ vidyate kvacit
Der Tiger sprach: „Sei willkommen, du Glückverheißende—o Sudhenū, du Wahrheitsrednerin. Denn für die Wahrhaftigen entsteht nirgends jemals etwas Unheilvolles.“
