Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya sages (implied standard frame)
Scene: Sūta narrates: Indra bows, beholds Vāsudeva, and departs; Vāsudeva remains at the sacred spot, radiating protective calm for the world’s welfare.
After receiving divine instruction, one returns to rightful duty; the Lord’s presence at the tīrtha continues for universal benefit.
The same tīrtha-lake locale where Vāsudeva remains established in Adhyāya 41.
None directly; it narrates the outcome of darśana and the Lord’s continued abiding at the place.
