Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 23

अजाविकास्तथा पादं नार्यः सर्वास्तथैव च । वेदाध्ययनसंपन्नाः प्रतिग्रहविवर्जिताः । शापानुग्रहकृत्येषु समर्थाः संभवंति च

ajāvikāstathā pādaṃ nāryaḥ sarvāstathaiva ca | vedādhyayanasaṃpannāḥ pratigrahavivarjitāḥ | śāpānugrahakṛtyeṣu samarthāḥ saṃbhavaṃti ca

Ebenso geben Ziegen und Schafe ihren Ertrag in voller Fülle; und alle Frauen sind gleichermaßen so. Mit dem Studium der Veden ausgestattet und frei vom Annehmen von Gaben, sind die Menschen auch zu Handlungen des Fluchens und Segnens befähigt.
