अनेन प्रार्थिता कन्या मया चास्मै प्रदीयते । तत्किं निषेधयसि मां दीयमानां सुतामिमाम्

anena prārthitā kanyā mayā cāsmai pradīyate | tatkiṃ niṣedhayasi māṃ dīyamānāṃ sutāmimām

„Dieser Mann hat um das Mädchen gebeten, und ich gebe ihm meine Tochter. Warum verbietest du mir also, diese Tochter zu geben, die gerade vergeben wird?“
