मातोवाच । तथा कुरु महाभाग शीघ्रं दारपरिग्रहम् । वंशवृद्धौ प्रमाणं चेद्वाक्यं तव ममोद्भवम्
mātovāca | tathā kuru mahābhāga śīghraṃ dāraparigraham | vaṃśavṛddhau pramāṇaṃ cedvākyaṃ tava mamodbhavam
Die Mutter sprach: „So handle, o Glückseliger: nimm ohne Verzug eine Gattin. Wenn die Mehrung des Geschlechts der Beweis sein soll, so möge dein Wort sich erfüllen durch das, was aus mir hervorgeht (aus meiner Linie).“
