Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 73

सर्वदानक्रतुभवं पुण्यं भवति योगतः । योगात्सकलकामाप्तिर्न योगाद्भुवि प्राप्यते

sarvadānakratubhavaṃ puṇyaṃ bhavati yogataḥ | yogātsakalakāmāptirna yogādbhuvi prāpyate

Durch Yoga entsteht heiliges Verdienst, gleich dem, das aus jeder Gabe und jedem Opfer hervorgeht. Aus Yoga erwächst die Erfüllung aller Ziele—nichts auf Erden ist durch Yoga unerreichbar.
