पार्वत्युवाच । तज्ज्ञानममलं देहि येन नावर्त्तनं भवेत् । इत्युक्तः स महाविष्णुः प्रत्युवाच हरप्रियाम्
pārvatyuvāca | tajjñānamamalaṃ dehi yena nāvarttanaṃ bhavet | ityuktaḥ sa mahāviṣṇuḥ pratyuvāca harapriyām
Pārvatī sprach: „Gewähre mir jenes makellose Wissen, durch das es keine Rückkehr (zur Wiedergeburt) gibt.“ So angeredet, erwiderte Mahāviṣṇu der Geliebten Haras.
