तस्यां यः कुरुते श्राद्धं जलैरपि प्रभक्तितः । यावद्द्वादश वर्षाणि पितरस्तस्य तर्पिताः
tasyāṃ yaḥ kurute śrāddhaṃ jalairapi prabhaktitaḥ | yāvaddvādaśa varṣāṇi pitarastasya tarpitāḥ
Wer zu jener Zeit das Śrāddha vollzieht, selbst nur mit Wasser, doch in aufrichtiger Hingabe, dessen Ahnen bleiben bis zu zwölf Jahre lang zufrieden.
