ततः पादौ परिस्पृष्ट्वा द्विजस्येदमुदीरयेत् । श्रद्धा पूतेन मनसा पितृभक्तिपरायणः
tataḥ pādau parispṛṣṭvā dvijasyedamudīrayet | śraddhā pūtena manasā pitṛbhaktiparāyaṇaḥ
Dann, nachdem er ehrerbietig die Füße des Dvija (Brāhmaṇa) berührt hat, soll er Folgendes sprechen — mit durch Glauben geläutertem Geist, ganz der Verehrung der Ahnen hingegeben.
