Mit außergewöhnlichem Glanz geschmückt, die Augen vor Staunen weit geöffnet, dachte er nach: „Wie kam es, dass diese Krankheit so plötzlich verging?“
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Scene: The healed man stands or sits in morning light, body shining; eyes wide with wonder as he contemplates the sudden end of illness.
When grace manifests, it can appear ‘sudden’; the Purāṇic teaching is to recognize unseen merit and tīrtha-prabhāva behind visible transformation.
The same tīrtha/kuṇḍa of Adhyāya 212 whose prabhāva is being narrated, connected with Bhāskara (Sun) worship later in the passage.
None in this verse; it expresses astonishment and inquiry that leads to acknowledging tīrtha-prabhāva.
