Type: kshetra
Scene: A group of brāhmaṇas respond collectively, declining to go again to Camatkārapura, stating that other brāhmaṇas there are already learned in Veda and Vedāṅga; the scene is a calm but firm deliberation.
Even among the learned, discernment about place and company matters; spiritual acts depend on suitable context and intention.
Camatkārapura is named again, noted for the presence of Veda- and Vedāṅga-adept Brāhmaṇas.
No new rite is prescribed; the verse concerns choosing where a rite (like śrāddha) should be performed.
