अपुत्रस्य तु मे पुत्रं यदि यच्छसि वासव । यस्मात्संजायते वंशो यावदाभूतसंप्लवम्
aputrasya tu me putraṃ yadi yacchasi vāsava | yasmātsaṃjāyate vaṃśo yāvadābhūtasaṃplavam
„Doch wenn du, o Vāsava, mir, der ich ohne Sohn bin, einen Sohn gewährst—damit ein Geschlecht entstehe und bis zum Ende der großen Auflösung des Zeitalters fortbestehe—(dann werde ich es tun).“
