शेषकाले तु यः श्राद्धं प्रकरिष्यति तैर्विना । व्यर्थं संपत्स्यते तस्य मम वाक्यादसंशयम्
śeṣakāle tu yaḥ śrāddhaṃ prakariṣyati tairvinā | vyarthaṃ saṃpatsyate tasya mama vākyādasaṃśayam
Doch zu anderen Zeiten: Wer das śrāddha ohne sie (die Viśvedevās) vollzieht, dem wird es fruchtlos werden—dessen bin ich gewiss kraft meines Wortes, ohne Zweifel.
