अश्राद्धेयो विपांक्तेयः सपुत्रो वा भवाम्यहम् । स्थानं वा संत्यजाम्येतत्पुत्र मैवं समाचर
aśrāddheyo vipāṃkteyaḥ saputro vā bhavāmyaham | sthānaṃ vā saṃtyajāmyetatputra maivaṃ samācara
„Ich könnte einer werden, der der Śrāddha-Riten unwürdig ist und der nicht in der Reihe der Brahmanen sitzen darf — samt meinem Sohn; oder ich verlasse diesen Ort. O Sohn, handle nicht so.“
