Pulastya
Type: kshetra
Listener: ṛtvij and assembled devas (within the story-frame)
Scene: Pulastya, as venerable ṛṣi, addresses assembled ṛtviks and a radiant circle of devas near a blazing yajña-kuṇḍa, urging immediate rising to complete the rite.
Sacred rites require timely, coordinated action—devotion is expressed through disciplined ritual completion.
No direct site-glorification in this verse; it continues the chapter’s ritual narrative surrounding the tīrtha discussion.
Proceed promptly with yajña-karmas; the ṛtviks and devas should rise and act to ensure the sacrifice is successfully carried out.
