Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 5

वर्तयिष्यंति कृत्येषु यावच्चन्द्रार्कतारकाः । गोवर्धन त्वया चिंता कार्या चास्य समुद्भवा

vartayiṣyaṃti kṛtyeṣu yāvaccandrārkatārakāḥ | govardhana tvayā ciṃtā kāryā cāsya samudbhavā

Sie werden ihre vorgeschriebenen Pflichten ausüben, solange Mond, Sonne und Sterne bestehen. Und du, Govardhana, sollst auch darauf bedacht sein, diese Stiftung zu bedenken und zu bewahren, wie sie entsteht und heranwächst.
