Type: kshetra
Scene: A penitent devotee stands before the liṅga with bowed head; behind, a faint shadow-figure symbolizes ‘mental sin’ dissolving into light; Pippalāda’s presence is suggested as a blessing-giver.
The tīrtha’s grace and the power of sacred hearing/recitation can burn away even deeply rooted sins when approached sincerely.
Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra/Kaṃsāreśvara’s sacred sphere as described in Nāgara Khaṇḍa, Tīrthamāhātmya.
Implied continuity with the prior verse: engage in śravaṇa/pāṭha of the māhātmya before the deity to obtain pāpa-nāśa.
