Selbst eine unglückliche und unfruchtbare Frau kann mit einem Sohn gesegnet werden, wenn sie—von der Übung des Bhakti-Yoga getragen—im Monat Caitra, am hellen achten Tag (Śuklāṣṭamī), in tiefer Nacht an eben diesem heiligen Ort, eine Piṇḍikā samt Naivedya und Bali darbringt.
