पत्न्युवाच । यद्येवं भृगुशार्दूल मम पौत्रोऽत्र यो भवेत् । क्षात्त्रं तेजोऽखिलं तस्य गात्रे भूया त्त्वयाऽहृतम्
patnyuvāca | yadyevaṃ bhṛguśārdūla mama pautro'tra yo bhavet | kṣāttraṃ tejo'khilaṃ tasya gātre bhūyā ttvayā'hṛtam
Die Gattin sprach: „Wenn dem so ist, o Tiger unter den Bhṛgus, dann möge bei dem Enkel, der in meiner Linie geboren wird, das gesamte kṣatriya-Leuchten von seinem Leib durch dich zurückgezogen werden.“
