Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 19

तृणैः परिस्तृणामीतिकृत्वोपस्तरणं ततः । आब्रह्मन्निति मन्त्रेण दत्त्वा ब्रह्मासनं ततः

tṛṇaiḥ paristṛṇāmītikṛtvopastaraṇaṃ tataḥ | ābrahmanniti mantreṇa dattvā brahmāsanaṃ tataḥ

Dann breitete er mit der Formel „paristṛṇāmi“ heiliges Gras aus und schuf die vorgeschriebene Unterlage; daraufhin bot er mit dem Mantra „ā brahman…“ den Sitz für Brahman dar, das priesterliche und göttliche Prinzip.
