Transliteration

dadau kanyāṃ suduḥkhārtāmaśrupūrṇekṣaṇāṃ sthitām | sannidhau vahniviprāṇāṃ tadā tena vivāhitā

Translation

Er gab das Mädchen hin, von großem Kummer gequält, das mit tränengefüllten Augen dastand. In Gegenwart des heiligen Feuers und der Brāhmaṇas wurde sie damals von ihm vermählt.
