मानुषेणैव रूपेण त्यक्त्वा तां बदरीं शुभाम् । प्रसिद्ध्यर्थं मया चात्र प्रासादोऽयं विनि र्मितः । मन्नाम्ना नरसंज्ञश्च श्रद्धापूतेन चेतसा
mānuṣeṇaiva rūpeṇa tyaktvā tāṃ badarīṃ śubhām | prasiddhyarthaṃ mayā cātra prāsādo'yaṃ vini rmitaḥ | mannāmnā narasaṃjñaśca śraddhāpūtena cetasā
„Nachdem ich das glückverheißende Badarī verlassen und menschliche Gestalt angenommen habe, ließ ich diesen Tempel hier errichten, um diesen Ort berühmt zu machen. Und mit einem durch Glauben geläuterten Geist soll er nach meinem Namen bekannt sein und die Bezeichnung ‚Nara‘ tragen.“
