श्रीदेव्युवाच । परितुष्टाऽस्मि ते वत्स प्रभावाद्भार्गवस्य च । वरं वरय तस्मात्त्वं न वृथा दर्शनं मम
śrīdevyuvāca | parituṣṭā'smi te vatsa prabhāvādbhārgavasya ca | varaṃ varaya tasmāttvaṃ na vṛthā darśanaṃ mama
Die erhabene Göttin sprach: „Mein Kind, ich bin mit dir zufrieden — auch aufgrund der Kraft und des Verdienstes Bhārgavas (Śukra). Darum wähle eine Gabe; mein Erscheinen vor dir soll nicht vergeblich sein.“
