Transliteration

śrīśaṃkara uvāca | tvaṃ sthāpayātra malliṃgaṃ pīṭhe gandharvasattama | tataścārādhaya prītyā yāvadvarṣamupasthitam

Translation

Śrī Śaṅkara sprach: „O Bester der Gandharvas, errichte hier auf einem Sockel einen Liṅga aus Ton. Dann verehre ihn voller Hingabe, bis ein ganzes Jahr verstrichen ist.“
