राजोवाच । अस्ति कश्चिदुपायोऽत्र देवौ वा मानुषोऽपि वा । क्षुत्पिपासेऽतितीव्रे मे विनाशं येन गच्छतः

rājovāca | asti kaścidupāyo'tra devau vā mānuṣo'pi vā | kṣutpipāse'titīvre me vināśaṃ yena gacchataḥ

Der König sprach: „Gibt es hier irgendein Mittel — durch einen Gott oder auch durch einen Menschen — wodurch mein überaus heftiger Hunger und Durst vernichtet werden kann?“
