अशक्तश्चलितुं स्थानादपि चैकं पदं क्वचित् । तेजो हीनोऽपि रौद्रेण चिन्तयामास वै ततः
aśaktaścalituṃ sthānādapi caikaṃ padaṃ kvacit | tejo hīno'pi raudreṇa cintayāmāsa vai tataḥ
Unfähig, sich von jener Stelle zu rühren, ja auch nur einen einzigen Schritt zu tun, und obgleich seine Kraft verloschen war, sann er daraufhin heftig nach, von rauer, brennender Qual ergriffen.
