एवं वर्षसहस्रांतं तत्तथैव व्यवस्थितम् । न मुंचंति भयात्ते तु न हंतुं शक्नुवंति च
evaṃ varṣasahasrāṃtaṃ tattathaiva vyavasthitam | na muṃcaṃti bhayātte tu na haṃtuṃ śaknuvaṃti ca
So blieb es tausend Jahre lang in eben diesem Zustand. Aus Furcht konnten sie es weder freilassen noch vermochten sie, es zu töten.
