Sage (instructor)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Gaurī departs from Maheśvara in a moment of wounded jealousy, traveling toward Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra; Śiva remains calm; Gaṅgā is hinted as a luminous river-goddess presence; the destination kṣetra glows as ‘siddhidam’.
Even human-like emotions in Purāṇic narratives are redirected toward discovering sacred places that transform the heart and grant siddhi.
Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra is praised as “susiddhidam,” a bestower of excellent spiritual success.
No direct ritual here; it provides the mythic background establishing the kṣetra’s potency.
