स सदा प्रातरुत्थाय विद्यादानं प्रयच्छति । शिष्येभ्यश्चानुरूपेभ्यः प्रसादाद्विजसत्तमाः

sa sadā prātarutthāya vidyādānaṃ prayacchati | śiṣyebhyaścānurūpebhyaḥ prasādādvijasattamāḥ

Jeden Morgen stand er auf und gewährte stets die Gabe des Wissens; und, o Beste der Zweimalgeborenen, aus Gnade unterwies er die geeigneten Schüler gemäß ihrer Aufnahmefähigkeit.
