Narrator (Purāṇic narrator within Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya context)
Scene: The heroine approaches the father/elder, bows fully, and speaks with trembling joy: ‘By good fortune, dear father, I have met you again.’ Kāma’s role is off to the side, having arranged the approach.
Humility and right conduct are shown through respectful approach and prostration, even amid worldly aims like marriage.
The verse sits within Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya (holy-site glorification) connected to a local jalāśaya (sacred water-reservoir) whose fame is explained later in the passage.
No explicit ritual is stated in this verse; it narrates respectful salutation (praṇipāta) as a dhārmic gesture.
