Type: tirtha
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya ṛṣis (implied by Sūta-frame)
Scene: A bright, lotus-filled waterbody (utpalā imagery) with pilgrims bathing at dawn; gentle ripples, offerings floating; the mood conveys auspicious continuity and protection from separation.
Rightly performed tīrtha-snāna is portrayed as restoring harmony—protecting one from the pain of separation and loss.
Karṇotpalā Tīrtha.
Perform proper bathing (snāna) at Karṇotpalā Tīrtha with due observance.
