ततः स सुचिरं ध्यात्वा प्रोवाच वृषभध्वजम् । स्त्रियमेकां परित्यक्त्वा नान्येभ्यस्तु वधो मम
tataḥ sa suciraṃ dhyātvā provāca vṛṣabhadhvajam | striyamekāṃ parityaktvā nānyebhyastu vadho mama
Dann, nachdem er lange nachgesonnen hatte, sprach er zu Vṛṣabhadhvaja (Śiva): „Bis auf eine einzige Frau möge mein Tod von keinem anderen kommen.“
