किं पुनः परदेशं च गताया रागिणा सह । तस्मादहं न संदेहः प्रातः स्नाता हुताशनम्

kiṃ punaḥ paradeśaṃ ca gatāyā rāgiṇā saha | tasmādahaṃ na saṃdehaḥ prātaḥ snātā hutāśanam

„Um wie viel mehr“, fuhr sie fort, „gilt dies für eine, die mit einem von Begierde getriebenen Mann in ein fremdes Land gegangen ist. Darum habe ich keinen Zweifel: Nach dem Bad im Morgengrauen werde ich mich dem heiligen Feuer, Agni, nähern.“
