ततः प्रोवाच देवेशः प्रार्थयस्व द्रुतं द्विज । येनाभीष्टं प्रयच्छामि यद्यपि स्यात्सुदुर्लभम्
tataḥ provāca deveśaḥ prārthayasva drutaṃ dvija | yenābhīṣṭaṃ prayacchāmi yadyapi syātsudurlabham
Da sprach der Herr der Götter: „Bitte rasch, o Brahmane. So werde ich dir das Ersehnte gewähren, selbst wenn es äußerst schwer zu erlangen ist.“
