Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 120

एवमुक्त्वा ततो दूतं पूजया मास राघवः । वस्त्रैर्बहुविधै रत्नैर्नद्युत्थैश्च पृथग्विधैः

evamuktvā tato dūtaṃ pūjayā māsa rāghavaḥ | vastrairbahuvidhai ratnairnadyutthaiśca pṛthagvidhaiḥ

Nachdem er so gesprochen hatte, ehrte Rāghava den Boten durch Verehrung und beschenkte ihn mit vielerlei Gewändern und verschiedenartigen Juwelen, auch solchen, die aus Flüssen gewonnen waren.
