विभीषण उवाच । एवं विभो करिष्यामि तवादेशमसंशयम् । परं त्वया परित्यक्ते मर्त्ये मे जीवितं व्रजेत्
vibhīṣaṇa uvāca | evaṃ vibho kariṣyāmi tavādeśamasaṃśayam | paraṃ tvayā parityakte martye me jīvitaṃ vrajet
Vibhīṣaṇa sprach: „So will ich handeln, o Herr; deinen Befehl erfülle ich ohne Zweifel. Doch wenn du die Welt der Sterblichen verlässt, wird auch mein Leben dahinschwinden.“
