लिंगे लयं समाधाय कयापि कलया स्थितम् । अन्यच्छिरोविवृश्च्यैवं तेनापि शिवपूजनम् । कृतं नैवान्यमुनिना तथा चैवापरेणहि

liṃge layaṃ samādhāya kayāpi kalayā sthitam | anyacchirovivṛścyaivaṃ tenāpi śivapūjanam | kṛtaṃ naivānyamuninā tathā caivāpareṇahi

Nachdem er sein Bewusstsein im Liṅga aufgehen ließ, blieb er dort durch eine gewisse Kraft gegründet. Dann schnitt er auf gleiche Weise noch ein Haupt ab und vollzog erneut die Verehrung Śivas—eine Tat, die weder ein anderer Muni noch sonst irgendwer je vollbracht hat.
