अजेयो हि महाञ्जातो रावणो लोकरावणः । सृष्ट्यंतरं कृतं येन प्रसादाच्छंकरस्य च

ajeyo hi mahāñjāto rāvaṇo lokarāvaṇaḥ | sṛṣṭyaṃtaraṃ kṛtaṃ yena prasādācchaṃkarasya ca

Wahrlich, Rāvaṇa — „der Schrecken der Welten“ — wurde mächtig und unbesiegbar geboren; durch Śaṅkaras Gunst bewirkte er sogar eine Veränderung der festgefügten Weltordnung.
